Hey loves 💕
Just a quick update! This month’s been a bit better than the last (yay!), and I’ve got around 3 rollover commissions from last month still in progress. Once those are done, I’ll start processing the new ones. Feel free to message me if you already know what you want, though I’ll be reaching out to everyone individually soon anyway like always! 💌
Recently, both Itch.io and Steam started cracking down on NSFW content, including games and art tagged with adult or LGBTQ+ themes. A lot of this was triggered by outside pressure from groups like Collective Shout, and more importantly, from payment processors like Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. These companies are now forcing platforms to heavily restrict NSFW content.
Right now, Itch has removed nearly all paid adult content from their search and browse features. They’ve started restoring free NSFW content, but anything involving payments is on pause while they "review everything" to stay compliant with processor demands. Even some queer-themed or suggestive titles with no explicit visuals have been affected.
Honestly, it’s really worrying. Not just as a creator, but as someone who cares about freedom of expression and being able to explore sexuality and identity in art. Platforms we’ve relied on for years are suddenly becoming unstable, and it's hard not to wonder where this is all headed. I’m doing my best to stay on top of things and keep creating regardless, but I won’t lie... it’s stressful seeing the ecosystem shift like this so fast.
I want to reassure you all that I strictly follow Patreon’s guidelines, and I take them seriously. I reread them every single time they update anything, just to make sure everything I do stays within the rules. That said… we’ve seen how quickly things can change lately. And honestly, who’s to say the rules won’t shift again tomorrow? I just don't want to wake up one sunny morning to find everything I've built over the years gone.
Thanks for reading all that, and for sticking around. Your support honestly means more than ever right now. I’ll be in touch again soon!
