Which do you like more — my old style or the new one?

I still make the old style sometimes, especially for things that don’t really work with the screencap look. And honestly, I think some of you still prefer the old one anyway. Still, I would love to hear what you guys think!

For Carmilla & Maki, I used a LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) from a guy I know — unfortunately, he doesn't have one for every character 😔. It works only with the base model and that specific LoRA, which was trained on anime screencaps. For Delta, I used the same settings as I did for Kanae — I think, but I might need to double-check (I didn't use any LoRA for Delta). The reason why the true screencap look doesn't pop that much is because, despite using the same settings for generating/upscaling, the style itself applies softer details & less contrast, similar to how it's in the anime series. 2025-07-04 19:32:47 +0000 UTCIt's hard to say. The old style example seems to be a mix of different styles. Some images use cel-shading while others use gradient-shading—or something in between, like gradient shadows with lots of defined edges. I prefer the old style images with more strict cel-shading. They still look kind of flat and like screencaps from an anime to me, but the lines are thicker, there's higher saturation and contrast, and maybe a little bit more detail compared to the images in the new style example. The sets with Maki Oze, Carmilla (Yami Healer) and Delta seem to mostly look like this, and those have been the best ones in my opinion. I'm not an expert on art styles, so I might be kind of off, but that's my take.
