New! Textured Planter Series (3) Now in the Archives!

Hey everyone!

Last spring I did a small series of geometrically modeled planters in Blender (See Zig Zag Planters in the Archives), and I decided to do another series of planters this year!

Introducing the Textured Planters Series.  You may recognize them as the same textures used on the Fancy Easter Eggs.  I really liked these patterns on the Eggs and wanted to try them out on a different design, so here we are!

The planters have build in storage holes,  and I designed a drip tray to accompany them.  The drip tray has raised ribs for the planters to rest on so the water can drain more effectively.

They are scaled at "succulent size," (100x100x70), but can be scaled up as you please.  Just be careful scaling down because the walls may become fairly thin.  I designed them at the "thinnest" and "smallest" I assumed people might print them, so I can't imagine wanting to scale them down much further.

Here is the link to find them in the Archives:

As always thank you all very much for the support, and I hope you like these!

Just make sure your printer is reasonably dialed in and you shouldn’t have an issue. These are a few layers thick

Question how do you make sure these vase won't leak water through the print?
