[Marvel's Magic Master] Chapter 267: Middle-earth Hogwarts Academy

Back when the Elves migrated westward, Thingol chose to remain in Middle-earth because he had fallen in love with the Maia Melian, who guarded the forests. He then established the Kingdom of the Grey Elves.

His brother, King Olwë of the Teleri, took on the responsibility of leading the majority of their people to continue westward to Valinor, where they became the Sea Elves living by the shores of Valinor.

Thus, the Grey Elves and the Sea Elves were originally one people, and their respective High Kings were blood brothers.

Additionally, the third prince of the Noldor married the eldest princess of the Sea Elves, and together they had several children, including Finrod.

By this lineage, Finrod, Angrod, Aegnor, and Galadriel's mother was Thingol's niece, making them closely related.

Therefore, when the Noldor returned to Middle-earth, Thingol was overjoyed. He held grand feasts in the Kingdom of the Grey Elves, inviting all the Noldor, especially Finrod and his siblings, who were directly related to him.

However, when he later learned that Fëanor's family had slain his brother and massacred a large portion of the Sea Elves, he flew into a rage. He expelled them all from his kingdom and vowed never to assist Fëanor in reclaiming the Silmarils.

Nonetheless, he remained friendly toward the line of Fingolfin and Finrod's siblings, who had not participated in the slaughter.

Galadriel spent much of her time in the Kingdom of the Grey Elves, learning wisdom and magic from the Maia Melian.

Now, with the eastern front breached and the Balrog army advancing into the heart of the continent, the situation was no longer just about Fëanor's revenge—it concerned the survival of all beings in Middle-earth.

Finrod was confident that Thingol would send troops to help contain the Balrog army.

"I have another proposal!"

As the meeting neared its conclusion, George suddenly spoke up.

All eyes immediately turned to him.

**"Morgoth continues to use his power to create new creatures. If he has already made one dragon, then he may well create an entire army of them—or even more terrifying beings.

If we only focus on defense, we may hold out for a century, but we won't necessarily last a millennium, let alone ten thousand years."**

"Are you suggesting that we take the initiative and attack Angband?"

Fingon shook his head.

"Angband is shrouded in Morgoth's power, covered in black smoke and toxic mists. Most Elves are not strong enough to resist it. If we launch an offensive, our forces will suffer massive losses before even engaging in battle."

Why had they merely fortified their defenses instead of pressing forward to slay Morgoth when they had the chance?

It was because ordinary Light Elves found their power severely suppressed in Angband, making them incapable of matching Morgoth's strength.

Just as Orcs weakened or even perished when exposed to sunlight and moonlight outside of Angband, so too did the Elves suffer under Morgoth's influence.

"No, I understand that attacking Angband right now is unrealistic. What I mean is that we need to enhance the overall strength of both Elves and Humans."

George smiled.

The others looked at him in confusion.

"Enhance the strength of Elves and Humans?"

"Yes. Tell me, what do you think of my magic?"

George asked.

"It's incredibly powerful. Without your magic, we wouldn't have been able to repel Morgoth's army."

Finrod's tone was full of admiration.

While George's magic might not have been as effective against top-tier beings like Sauron and dragons, it was devastating to ordinary Orcs.

Most importantly, his spells had wide coverage, multiple functions, and terrifying efficiency in battle.

Even if the gathered Elven princes joined forces, their efficiency on the battlefield wouldn't come close to matching George's magic.

Thus, Finrod was genuinely impressed by the human's abilities.

"What I'm saying is—what if every Elf and Human could learn my magic? Wouldn't that give us enough strength to attack Angband?"

George stood up, his voice passionate.

**"My proposal is this: let's establish an academy in this central Elven city. Here, Humans and Elves alike can teach and learn magic, combat techniques, and archery.

If we do this, the overall strength of both Humans and Elves will increase dramatically, and Morgoth's army will no longer be an insurmountable threat!"**

George had two main goals for this proposal.

The first was genuine—he wanted to help Humans and Elves grow stronger. Light Elves were naturally gifted with magic, and their learning capabilities were high. If they could master his spells, combining archery, swordsmanship, and magic, their combat prowess would soar.

The same applied to Humans. Instead of engaging in close combat, a large number of human mages could provide ranged magical support, which would be far more efficient.

Even for close-quarters combat, warriors could first enhance themselves with giant-form magic before engaging in battle.

If the power of Humans and Elves increased significantly, the chances of breaching Angband and killing Morgoth would rise as well.

By spreading magical knowledge and helping to eliminate Morgoth's dark army, George would also be performing a tremendous service in the eyes of the Valar—securing his own opportunity to live and study in Valinor.

The second goal was even more personal—if they really did establish an academy, top-tier Elven experts would surely come to teach. Future legends like Queen Galadriel and Lúthien, who could even enchant Morgoth, would likely be among them.

That way, he wouldn't need to travel across Elven lands seeking knowledge—he could learn directly from the greatest masters at the academy.

As George passionately described the benefits and grand future of the academy, the Elven princes began envisioning a world where countless Elves and Humans unleashed barrages of light arrows, obliterating Orcs. Where giant warriors crushed Angband into rubble.

Military strategy and troop movements? George didn't know much about those—he hadn't been a general in his past life.

But when it came to inspiring people with grand visions? That, he had some experience with.

After all, in his previous life, he had been constantly fed false promises by his bosses at work. And back in the Harry Potter world, he had fed quite a few empty promises to the diary-bound Voldemort.

At this time, the Elves and Humans of Middle-earth were still quite innocent. Hearing George's grand vision, they became immediately excited.

In near unison, they raised their hands in support of the proposal, eager to begin preparations as soon as possible.

Elves and Humans weren't stupid. In fact, they were highly intelligent. But intelligence didn't always protect against deception—after all, they would later be fooled by Sauron's Rings of Power.

Of course, what George proposed wasn't actually a deception. If executed well, the academy could genuinely become what they envisioned.

"George, since this was your idea, you should name the academy."

Finally, Finrod, still filled with excitement, turned to George.

After a moment's thought, George said:

"Let's call it Middle-earth Hogwarts Academy!"
