Week 38 - Story Voting System, Mobile Improvements, and What's Next!

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to share a few major updates that will make your Chatfic Lab experience even better:

1. Story Voting System is Here! 🎉

The most requested feature is finally here. you can now vote on your favorite stories! This new featureallows you to:

• Upvote or downvote any story (well, not individual episodes, but the series as a whole)

• See the community's votes right on the Find Stories page

• View detailed vote counts (upvotes/downvotes) by hovering over the vote count

This voting system is just the beginning! I'm already working on a "Top Stories" page that will showcase the best-rated stories from our community. And don't worry - the ranking system won't simply be upvotes minus downvotes. I'm developing a more sophisticated scoring system to ensure fair representation of both new and established stories.

2. Major Mobile Improvements

For all our mobile users (and I know there are many of you!), I've made some significant technical improvements:

• Switched to CanvasKit rendering on mobile devices

• Fixed several iOS-specific issues that previously prevented some users from accessing the website

This change means that whether you're on desktop or mobile, you'll get the same high-quality experience. While this required some behind-the-scenes work, it was absolutely worth it to ensure everyone can enjoy Chatfic Lab to its fullest!

What's Next?

The Top Stories page is already in development, and I can't wait to share it with you. This will make discovering stories easier than ever, helping both readers find amazing content and authors get more visibility for their work.
