I've gotten together some files for another nice-sized food decor set, and improved the image textures where I could. Here are the first 2 items, a jar of anchovies and a jar of pickled vegetables. There are more jars in the grocery set, I must have overlooked these two when I made that one somehow, so here they are π½ I hope that everyone is having a nice Monday, and if you haven't yet, grab the Bug Museum Set Part 1 here! (60 items)
Update (Monday early evening):
Please pardon me for moving a bit slowly today, I woke up very sore, especially when I move my arms forward (mouse movements included) but I'm so excited about the little things I've been working on. Here is a BGC version of the Get Together cake display, I have made it a little smaller, gave it slots, and some extra swatches. I have started liberating the desserts from inside the dessert display case from the Grocery Set. Like usual with liberated items, I've made a larger, improved image texture which I have cropped. The smaller dimensions helps to not bloat the package. There will be quite a few liberated food items for this set! βΊοΈ I'll be back with some more individual cakes pics very soon!
Update (Monday early evening):
Added all 3 of the cakes, and 1 of the cake slices (so far) all have 4 swatches each. On to the second cake slice and the cupcake. Made a second mini version of the cake stand for cute, individual servings.
Update (Monday evening):
Added the second cake slice, and the cupcake. All of these liberated items have 4 swatches.
Update (Monday night):
Added a celery, a bread in a paper bag, sugar cane & a sugar cane plant (forgot to take a pic π), and the decluttered birthday table, a functional round table. All swatches included. The chair pictured above is from the Antique Set.
Update (Monday night/Tuesday morning 2 am):
Added all 6 clutter items from the birthday table, all liberated, with new image textures, bump maps, and specular maps. All swatches included. I did not realize how late it has gotten, I am going to have to get some sleep, but I'm so excited to make more things tomorrow!
Update (i lied):
I couldn't help myself and started on the imperial table clutter objects, here are all of them together in Sims 4 Studio. I'm so excited about these, they are so cute. I will be liberating all of these objects into their own clutter objects tomorrow. Can't wait to add some steam to that soup! βΊοΈ
Update (Tuesday noon):
I woke up after 5 hours this morning from shoulder pain again, so I got my ibuprofen and hot water bottle, and started working on the next group of items. Here is the imperial dining table, the imperial dining chairs, and the first food object from the food clutter, the soup. This bowl is really large, but I was thinking that there could be a large bowl, and then a smaller individual serving bowl, so I will be adding those. For this bowl there is a steam & non-steam version, it will be the same for the smaller one.
Update (Tuesday continued):
Added the smaller versions of the soup. Added a pic of the sugar cane items, a decor piece and a plant.
Update (Tuesday evening):
Added the tofu dish(?) steam & non-steam versions, the teapot, steam & non-steam versions, the dumplings, steam & non-steam versions, trio of oils, an empty bowl, and 2 other stacks of this bowl for restaurant decor. New image textures, bump & specular maps for all items.
Update (Tuesday night):
Added the narezushi item, and 2 versions of the shrimp dish, steam & non-steam.
Update (late Tuesday night/early Wed. morning):
Added one more dish, the lobster, in both steam & non steam versions. 42 items so far! I have a few more table clutter items to make for this group of items from the imperial table, I will get those done tomorrow along with some more fun things!
Update (Wednesday evening):
The next item added is the little side dish, down in the bottom of the new image, what looks like a cheese dish with tomatoes, and a plate of green beans. I was able to do these two as swatches instead of two separate items. Moving on to the little dipping sauce items, I am going to try to do these 4 as 4 swatches as well, instead of 4 separate items.
Update (Wed. night):
Added the rest of the imperial table clutter: the dipping sauce, with 4 swatches for the 4 sauces, 4 plates, 3 with chopsticks on them in different positions, 2 stacks of plates of different height, and a glass with chopsticks in it. I also added as many slots as Sims 4 Studio would allow to this dining table. There are still a few more items I want to make for this set.
Update (wednesday night):
Added the imperial wall lantern, and the fence object. Added a couple extra swatches for the fence: a brighter red and a green. We have 55 items. I wanted to try to fashion some kind of "imperial" door to go along with the imperial items, because they would be really cute for a chinese restaurant. I am going to have to work on that tomorrow, as it is almost 2 am. I hope everyone is having a nice week π
Update (Thursday early afternoon):
I was able to make a nice door for using at a chinese restaurant, shown above. It has 6 total swatches, 2 red (one is brighter), a green, and then I have the 3 swatches without the design, so that if anyone wants to add their own design to it they can do that easier.
Update (Thursday afternoon):
Added a takeout menus holder, and a chinese zodiac placemat (all swatches shown above). I have one more thing to make and then I will get started on the preview pics for the post βΊοΈ
Update (continued):
Added a wall painting to go with the chinese restaurant theme. There are 10 images with 3 frame swatches each, 30 total swatches shown above. Getting previews for the post, the set should be posted later today π
Update (last one):
So I was arranging things for the images for the post, and I realized that I don't have a decluttered version of the Get To Work cake display. So right now I am quickly making that a reality so I can add that to the set also. The image above shows what I was half aiming for, all those boxes that are part of the mesh are in the way. So I'm remaking a BGC version with more slots. (ran into an issue where the glass was showing up transparent, but it is now fixed)
