Here is the first item for our next voted for set, the food items. This is the Nanakusa Gayu. I have added extra swatches for the contents of the bowl that will match the wok item that I am also making for this set. This item has steam. I will be making another version that doesn't have the platter underneath, and both of these versions will have non-steam versions as well. I hope everyone is having a nice Friday! π (All of the improvments for all of the image textures has been completed, by the way! )
Update (3 am):
Added the non steam version with the plate, and steam and non steam versions for the bown with no plate underneath. Added the plate of chips, with steam & non steam versions. I am in danger of completely flipping my sleep schedule again, which really interrupts my ability to get IRL needs done, and it takes me weeks to fix it so I must go to bed for now. But I can't wait to continue tomorrow, I love these food sets! So much to use for decorating scenes for stories, or simply food item decor that won't develop a stink cloud over time. The rest of the items in my WIP folder for now are the smoothie drinks, all of the ramen dishes, the woks, and I will be making a flan item out of the Pompompurin pudding item from awhile back. It's not necessarily all I plan to make, but I will be looking in my WIP folders for other things I would like to add. Also, as always, if there is an item you would like added to the set, even if it's not an official ACNH item, I can do my best to add it. For instance, if there is a soupy food item that you would like included as a swatch for the bowls. I can find nice-looking food stock vectors most of the time, for most things. So please let me know! Goodnight for now and I will have more fun previews for you all tomorrow! Much love! π
Update (Saturday morning):
I was up most of the night with the worst stomach ache π When the store opened up, I sucked it up and went for a walk, and got some bread. Sometimes going for a walk helps. It's all due to my chronic condition, which causes stomach issues among many other things, but today my body picked that. The walk ended up helping though, and getting to enjoy the crisp autumn air as the sun was rising. So when I got home I worked on the flan item. I kept 2 strawberries and an orange slice for garnish.
Update (Saturday evening):
Added the first two wok items: the empty one, and the mapo tofu. Both items have steam and non steam versions. The empty ones have a slot.
Update (Saturday night):
Added all of the wok items. Steam and non steam versions for each type. They all have their own individual bump maps, which is why they each have their own package file instead of just swatches for the food contents inside.
Update (late Saturday night 1 am):
Added the apple smoothie. I had to mess with this item a bit before I got it looking normal, but this is the finished item. We have a bunch of cute smoothie items coming up.
Update (late, continued):
Added the carrot smoothie and I needed to use a different item as the base due to the transparency needed for the leaves. I decided it looked way nicer than the initial apple smoothie, so I remade it in the same manner as the carrot one. I like these, they are turning out really cute! And there are a bunch! They are taking me a bit longer per item, due to the entire image texture for the glass needs to be made anew, along with the bump map. The original mesh has the glass as two separate mesh groups & image textures, I tried it with a 3 mesh group item, it looks completely weird, so I decided to join them as one mesh drinking glass and it looks much, much better this way (as shown above).
Update (continued, 3 am):
Added the cherry smoothie and the coconut milk smoothie.
Update (continued, 4:18 am):
Added the orange, peach, pear, and tomato smoothies.
Update (late Sunday night):
Aded the first of the ramen bowls, both steam and non steam versions. Like other food items, each type comes with only one color for the dish it's in, so I'm adding all of the bowl swatches for each type, along with 2 extra swatches that I made, a purple-lilac colored bown, and a white one because I feel like it's always good to have a plain white dish. Here is the miso ramen.
Update (continued late Sunday night/early Monday morning 3:20am):
Added the rest of the ramen, each item has been given all of the bowl swatches, plus the 2 extra that I added. 39 items so far! I've just got a few little things to add to the set left over, they are items that are being liberated from larger things. Preview soon!
Update (continued 4am):
Added a bowl of rice. Shown above is the steaming version. I added a few more swatches for the bowl.
Update (continued 4:48am):
Added a small side dish of greens. There will be a couple more of these with different contents inside.
Update (continued 5:27am):
Added the other 2 side veggies. Extra swatches added for all of the dishes for these smaller items.
Update (last one!):
Added a plate of cabbage rolls. Also added extra plate swatches. Now I just need to get all of the images ready for the post π
