Here are the first 2 items for the airport πŸ˜„ I've collected the rest of the files I need (I hope, but I can always go digging for the rest if I notice something is missing) I've been so excited about this location set, it's just so cute. So we have the DAL sea plane, made with an Island Living float as the base so that it can bob in the water. I will be making a base game compatible version as well, that will not have the bobbing water animation, but can still be placed on the water surface. Next is the sign that goes on top of the building.

Update (late Wednesday night):
It's been a busy day of chores, we are behind preparing for winter! Got a bit caught up though, so that is good. Then, after separating and converting the big files and taking some screenshots of what we've got, I tried to log in here and the website was giving me an issue πŸ™ƒπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ. I posted about it on Tumblr & Insta in case anyone would see it, but I had to wait for the issue to be fixed before I could update here so thank you for your patience. Above are some Blender previews of the big meshes, and one of an individual item which is the arch. There is lots more like a TV, posters, etc. but I will take fun previews of the actual items when I get to work on things more tomorrow. I also included a screenshot of what Patreon was doing, if you ever run into the same issue you can contact support and they will fix it rather promptly.

Update (Thursday early afternoon):
I spent a good amount of time today making the flag for the dock & tweaking it's proportions. Above is a very rough draft of the display for all the outdoor area CC. I have edited a Sulani lot for the location, I think it's a good spot to build this airport in your TS4 game if you have Island Living ☺️🌴 The next image is an example of what I am working with, when making items from the game locations. They are mostly all attached to a large structure and need to be separated. Then the image files are very large with the textures for many items all on one image (and one mesh piece completely off of the image). So I make new, smaller images for the objects so as to not bloat the package file unecessarily, and I make new bump & specular maps for them (bump is for shadows and lines detail, specular is for shine). The next image shown in Blender is the liberated dock fence with the preservers still attached. I've adjusted the size, but as you can see the proportions of ACNH items are often way too short to look right next to Sims, so the mesh gets size/proportion adjusted some more. I will be making the "fence" like I made the rope barriers in other sets, where there are a few variations of what is there to allow for placing them where they are wanted (like a full 2 poles with rope, just a pole, just a rope). The life preserver will also be its own object.
Update (late Thursday night):
The fence pieces are finally finished. There are 8 total pieces for making the fence any way you want. There is a piece with 2 poles and a rope, 4 different versions of poles, and 3 versions of rope, all shown above on the lot and in a couple close-ups. All of the pieces have new image textures that I've reconfigured, and then remapped the items in order to make the files smaller without losing detail. Above there is a pic of the original mapping in Blender. You can see the area used by a fence piece is very little on this whole image. I've also added a gif of the Island Living plane and the base game compatible plane next to each other to show the floating. I have just a few more outside items to make, then I can move on to the interior items.
Update (continued late Thurs. night):
Added the control tower piece, and the side piece for the dock that has a ramp. This item is decor, your sims will not be able to walk on it. As you can see this piece needs some adjustments, the tower may also, I will be looking at them again tomorrow morning as I must go to sleep soon (it's almost 1 in the morning). One note on the tower is the windows are opaque. I would like to give them just a little transparency to see how it looks, it might be able to look cute with some window transparency and a dim light placed in there. I hope everyone is liking how the exterior objects are coming out, we have 14 items so far. The outside has been a bit difficult with all the tweaking of the items, the inside pieces should come out right much quicker.

Update (Friday afternoon):
I've been working for a long time today on mostly that dock piece, but I also edited the glass for the control tower, it has slight transparency now, and 2 slots inside (small and medium) where you can place a lamp with a soft glow for a cozy look. The dock now is lower down, but I'm having an issue where it wants to snap to the rest of the dock's level when I get it "too close" to the build, it is the footprint size, so I've remade the item with a smaller footprint and am about to retest it.
Update (continued):
It's fixed! You will now be able to place it up to the side of your TS4 dock without it trying to snap into a different spot.
Update (Friday evening):
Added the outdoor wall lights, and as always with my lamp CC, I recommend turning the brightness down in game for the best look due to my vertex painbrush issue in Blender.
Update (late Friday night):
Added the ramp that goes into the doorway, the outside window is another "faux" window like in The Roost set, but this one glows at night. Added a life preserver like on the fence pole for the wall, and the wall vent. It's doing something weird, I need to look at it more. I had to use TOOL to move it up on the wall because it would snap somewhere else if I raised it "too high" in build mode. The ramp was made with a rug as the base, which is making it transparent in areas above the ground, so I need to remake that real quick and just remove the footprint. I am excited to finish the outside so I can move on to the cute interior items ☺️
Update (continued late Friday night):
Fixed the ramp, and I am not sure why the vent wants to snap when it gets raised in build mode with the mouse after a certain height. It is made with a wall object as a base. To get around that, and without having to use TOOL, it can easily be raised into place with the keyboard "9" key. I think I am finished with the outside objects (besides my preview build looking a bit off size-wise) so tonight I am going to start liberating some of the interior objects from the large mesh so that tomorrow I can get started right on making the items. There are 20 items so far πŸ’— I hope everyone gets to have a nice weekend, and that you're all doing okay πŸ’—πŸ’—

Update (Saturday early evening):
Today I've been working on the interior items, starting a few hours ago I've gotten the hanging TV, the map poster for the left corner, the floor sign, and two versions of the flapper gate for open and closed doors, and red or green light (all have extra swatches). I want to take a look at the base game doorway that I am using and make it a bit wider if I can for another item for the set, so that it can look closer to the original ACNH location. The yucca plant is from the Paradise Planning build, but I will probably remake this item with the plate underneath like it is supposed to have. The floors and walls are stand-ins right now, I have to look at that floor more especially, as it is one huge item/image and I want it to be able to be used as a regular TS4 floor.
Update (late Saturday night):
Added the rest of the left side interior items: the luggage carts, and another version of just a single cart, the barrier, and the chocolate poster. Added the reception desk. Preview pic added of the TV when the lights are off. 30 items so far πŸ’—
Update (continued late):
Added the chair bench, the small table space in the middle has slots. I also added some slots to the outside deck piece to allow for placing deco sims (but not all deco sims seem to work, I added all 3 deco sizes for the slots and I think it must do with the deco sim's slotting) in the preview image, the sitting deco sim has simply been raised into position with the "9" key.

Update (Sunday night):
Added the card stand, mesh edited to look normal next to sims. I also added more swatches so that it has more cards. This item is also available as a smaller tabletop item in an older set here.
Update (continued Sunday night):
Going back to an item I started earlier and had an issue: The floor tiles. Above is an image of the full floor, and the tiles that I made to be able to put the floor together like a puzzle (with the rug being a rug item, and the footprint being its own object). In gamethe tiles are laying out weird. I have to look at this item more and figure out how to get it to stop doing what it's doing. It is as if it has a designated spot already for only a portion of each swatch.
Update (Sunday midnight):
Tried to make the dimensions different and that is not helping. You can see my new swatch in the build menu above, and the floor as it is allowing me to place it. Trying something else!
Update (floor again):
Tried some more things, still not working, I fnally got a working pattern with using just a checkered pattern. For some reason it will not let me make the floor simply where it can be placed easily like a puzzle, it wants to orient the pieces in its own way. I have saved my original image files and will go back to this floor at the end. If I still can't find an answer I will have to add it to my list of weird things that won't work that I want to figure out and release the floor as the checkered pattern shown above.
Update (contiinued):
Added the wooden floor for the back hallway, and the wall for the interior.
Update (last one for this night):
Added the Dodo Airlines wall hanging, and the two travel posters (2 posters as 1 object). I was messing with the door frame, I think it needs something called a wall cutout on doors like with windows, so I need to adjust that in Sims 4 Studio before adding it to the build, or the hole in the wall won't look right. I told myself I would go to bed at 2 am tonight and it is almost 2:30, so I will continue tomorrow. I hope everyone likes how things are coming along, and I hope all of you had a nice weekend! πŸ’—
Update (last one for the night, I promise):
I continued working on the door frame because I wanted to get that item finished. Cutouts are still new to me so I wanted to look at that again. It's now working as it should, we have a slightly wider door frame for the entrance to the hallway (has all 12 original swatches). I resized the map poster to make it a bit larger, and I also liberated the clutter meshes from the reception desk mesh so that I can have them ready for creating them tomorrow.

Update (Monday afternoon):
Added the shelf that goes behind the reception desk. It has some cute clutter on the bottom, and lots of slots on top. Above are 4 images of the object through different stages of the image texture improvement process and the end result. I will get an in game pic of it after I make the suitcase that goes next to it.
Update (Monday early evening):
Here are the shelf and suitcase in game. The ghost doll on top is here if anyone wants it. On to the rug, and desk clutter items.
Update (Monday evening):
Added the rug for the desk area, and the computer, which is a decor item due to the cute screen that it already has. The screen lights up in the dark.
Update (Monday night):
Added the rest of the clutter for the left side of the desk: the model airplane, clipboard with pen, and name tag plate.
Update (Monday night/Tuesday morning 12:45am):
Finished the desk clutter, and made the wall decor signs for the back hallway. Made the inside hanging life preserver.
Update (Tuesday 1:20 am):
Added the yucca plant specific to this location, it has a plate underneath. Earlier I tried to make the indoor window, and I think its a speaker? It lines multiples of them at the top of the room. The meshes for these items are broken. I need to try to redo them and hope that they can come out looking nice. I will be doing that tomorrow, along with the rest of the items, adding some Simlish to a couple items per a kind request, and hoping I can get the set posted tomorrow also. I will also be taking another look at the floor. 51 items have been made so far. I hope everyone is having an okay Monday πŸ’—
Update (I kept going):
I got the floor working as I intended, so you will now be able to place each section as you wish, in any room size, with the swatches I've made from the one large image. I also included the checkered swatch I made as a temporary stand-in for fun. Images above. I just couldn't help myself, but now I do have to get some sleep as it is 2:30 in the morning. I can't wait to finish things up tomorrow!

Update (Tuesday afternoon):
Added the feet marking for the floor in front of the flapper gate, it has extra swatches. Added the potted snake plant and cactus. The monstera plant in this location that goes on the opposite side of the room as the other plants is the exact same item as in the Paradise Planning location, it would be silly to make a second one that is the same item, so that item is here in Part 2 of that set. I still have 2 items to try to make and hope they come out looking nice: the speaker-looking wall item, and the indoor window. The meshes for those items are broken and need to be fixed and remapped. Whether I post the set tonight or tomorrow will depend on how long it takes me for those two, the build would feel a bit incomplete without those items. I will also add Simlish swatches to the items that have decipherable letters. After this set is posted I will make the other voted for sets, but I also have a part 2 folder for the airport that consists of souvenir items that I would also like to make this month.
Update (Tuesday midnight-ish):
Added Simlish to items that had readable letters: the DAL hanging, map poster, and the outdoor sign. The speaker and the indoor faux window are also finished. I also posted a pic of the room with the lights off that shows all 3 of the interior items that glow. We have 57 items, I'm going to get pics of everything and get it posted πŸ’— I hope everyone is having a nice day.

No worries at all! I was just thinking about the signs that are in English really. I can always make some Simlish swatches if you don't have time. :)

Marisa (gfvsims)

I'm so glad you like how it's coming along! I don't usually make Simlish swatches for an Animal Crossing location build, but if you want them I can add them ☺️ The screens are unreadable, but the outdoor sign and the wall hanging?

SimderTalia

This looks awesome! Are you going to do Simlish swatches as well?
