WIP

I started on these a couple days ago, gathering all the rest of the needed files, early this morning I started on making them. I am having this issue again, which I thought I had figured out how to fix by exporting the remapped object as a .obj file and re-importing it, but now to my chagrin that isn't working. Quite frustrating, but I'm still going to mess with it of course and try to get it to map properly. This is (supposed to be) Flurry, the hamster. The face and the clothing part are reverting back to a default incorrect mapping when I import the new Blender file into Sims 4 Studio. If there are any characters that I just cannot get to behave I will have to skip them and put into the revisit folder, but I really don't want to do that. I hope that everyone is having a nice and relaxing Saturday πŸ’—β˜•οΈ

Update (Saturday late morning):
I got them looking normal now, yay! Here is Flurry in standing, sitting, and functional toy. Like usual I've made 4 swatches for facial expression. The textures have not yet been improved.

Update (very early Sunday morning):
I've gotten all of the image textures improved now, and above is a new pic of Flurry for comparison, you can see that he looks not so pixel-y. Next I worked on Katie, I included an in-between pic above where her textures are on the body of a hamster mesh before I've added the correct mesh, because sometimes they look really cute! She's like a little Winnie the Pooh. With her correct mesh I made her the same 3 versions: standing, sitting, & functional toy.
Update (later Sunday morning):
Added Tom Nook, he has a standing version & a functional toy. I tried to make a sitting version with this mesh, sometimes it just doesn't look good (like with Daisy Mae & Joan from this set). I hope everyone likes how these are turning out πŸ’— I have left to make: Timmy & Tommy Nook, Beppe, Carlo & Giovanni, and Kapp'n, Grams, Leila, & Leilani (the last 3 are from New Leaf which I was able to find readily available ripped meshes of them, they have very tiny image textures are are going to still need some editing by me for the textures. They will not look nice in TS4 otherwise.

Update (early Monday morning):
Here are all 3 of the Nooks: Tom, Timmy, & Tommy. They each have a standing version & functional toy version. I love these three, they are just so cute!
Update (early Monday afternoon):
Added the penguins: Beppe, Carlo, and Giovanni, standing, sitting, and functional toy versions of each. Added the same 3 versions for Kapp'n.
Update (continued):
Trying to make Grams, but no matter what I do, she is looking as the gif shows above. For the New Leaf characters, I have already tried all of the things I usually do when this happens and she is not cooperating. The issue with Grams isn't just the face portion, it is her entire body, and the portion of the mesh for the coral in her hair is broken. I will move on to the other two and save her in my revisit folder.
Update (continued):
I've tried also making Leila and Leilani, the same thing is happening with these two as with Grams (they are all New Leaf meshes) I included an image above from Blender, it wants to lay the mesh out and use half of the image where it's supposed to, I think it tries to mirror the half image but it isn't working right in Sims 4 Studio. I have put them in the revisit folder, there is also an image above of the contents of that folder as of now, of characters that I've tried over and over to make and the object is doing something weird. I am going to get the post images ready for these and get this set posted so that I can start organizing all of the things I need for our last poll winner, things for The Roost location. I hope everyone is having a nice start to their week, this set should be up soon! πŸ’—
