WIP

Here we go! Here is the first item I have finished for the Mermaid set: the divider. I am going to have fun with these items, they all are so cute.

Update (Late Thursday night/Early Friday morning): I made the chair, and the vanity table. Both items' meshes needed to be adjusted a little in order to look proper next to Sims. I currently do not know how to do items with reflective mirrors on them. So the vanity table mirror is the texture that was part of the original Animal Crossing object. When I post this I will offer for another creator to add the mirror if someone wants to, meanwhile this is something that I want to figure out anyway, so ultimately I will be adding the real mirror. If I can clone the object to a base game mirror and then import the tunings for the table, that could work, but I don't want to spend too much time messing with something that might not work for just one item. This set is going to have a lot of items so I don't want to take too long getting it posted for everybody. I hope you like how it's coming along!
Update (continued): Starting to liberate all the pretty little bottles from the vanity table so they can be placed anywhere.
Update (continued): Added more table clutter, a coffee table, and fainting sofa.
Update (continued, early Friday morning): I made a little coral decor with some recolors, and the wardrobe closet. I made a first version of the bed, but the item I cloned it to is being weird, I am going to try the base game cot bed as the base for the bed item, it seemed to be unproblematic when I used it as the base for the gurney in the hospital set. Oh, and Happy Friday, everyone! I will have to take a little pause from creating at the moment, but I cannot wait to complete this set. Everything is so cute, and the built-in clutter items that are on the dresser, vanity, and shelf meshes are going to be such a nice collection of clutter when I am finished with those. Update (Friday evening): I've added 3 rugs, the wedding arch, clock, dresser, a decor crown, and I've fixed the issue with the bed. It's coming along nicely! Images added above.
Update (continued, very early Saturday morning): I have done a mesh edit to make a nightstand item that matches the rest of the furniture. There are now 2 shelves, one for the floor, and I edited it to make one for the wall as well. Lots of slots for all the surfaces. 25 items so far!
Update (continued, same early morning): All of the decor items have now been liberated from the items that had built-in clutter. I have to say I'm excited to have these in my own game too, I absolutely hoard perfume CC, & little bottles and jars.

Update (Saturday evening): I've added the sand dollar table and cowrie seats, and miniature decor versions of these objects as well.
Update (continued): I added the lamp as a functional lamp, there was no string for the starfish to hang from so I added one. I continue to have the Blender issue with the vertex paintbrush. So this item looks best with the brightness turned way down. Like the mushroom lamp, I will offer for any other creators whose vertex paint is working properly to edit this item if they would like to. I've also posted pics of a sim sleeping in the bed to show the positioning. There is no blanket that goes over the sim.
Update (continued): There is an AC wand in the mermaid items, so I made it into a wall decor item, secured in a little holder with pearls on it. I tried to make this item snap to the wall like a painting, but the object I needed to clone it to wants to snap in other ways, so bb.moveobjects is required to be on to place this properly on the wall. The mesh has 2 parts, and 2 images, so I had to clone it to an object that has the same.

Update (Sunday evening): There is now a fountain, seashell bunch that sticks out of the ground, a music box, a seashell-shaped make-up compact, and 4 seashells liberated and made smaller from the seashell bunch.
Update (continued): Added some floors and walls, and a cute little pair of shoes decor. 50 files now in total. I will be working on getting preview images ready for the post!
