Any broken CC with game updates?
Added 2023-07-21 19:22:16 +0000 UTCI try to keep an eye out on Tumblr in the Simming community for object categories that "break" with an update. Sims 4 Studio has a tool that allows one to do something called a batch fix. It easily updates the objects to work again with the updated game. I will always be updating anything that breaks as needed, but if I miss something, please let me know! I usually don't get to have the newest DLCs and expansions right when they come out, so I don't catch these on my own, I have to see others' notes in their blog posts.
If anyone is interested in learning how to do their own batch fixes, here is a link with a tutorial. It is very helpful for when you have some broken CC by a retired creator, or a creator simply hasn't gotten to fixing something yet. It will allow you to fix all of the items in the category of items that broke with said update. Note that if Sims4Studio hasn't been updated also, it won't include the batch fix yet, so sometimes we have to wait just a little bit for that.

No problem, I will make wall versions of those. Yes! I have the mermaid items in my WIP folder, but not the ice set. I can add that set as well 😊

2023-07-24 18:09:13 +0000 UTCI think I tried the shift option and it wasn't working, I would love the wall versions please...also have you thought about doing the underwater and mermaid sets (I have some of your shell objects which are so cool) and maybe the ice set too...this stuff is so cool and well worth subbing for

2023-07-24 13:48:33 +0000 UTCYes, they are made this way so that they can be placed on doors easily (with the alt key) without having a default location that they snap to. If there is an issue with the placement though, I would be glad to take another look at those items!
