It took me awhile to get all the files together for this set, there are soooo many items. Here is a first sneak peek! (Image textures have not yet been upscaled)
Update (Jun 17th): I have posted an image of the teacups ride in Blender. You can see a little deco sim sleeping in the seat on the green cup (one of xldkx's amazingly useful deco sims!) This is how I adjust the size of conversion objects. They are always comically large upon importing. Next item I'll be working on is the ferris wheel. (keep in mind image textures are not yet upscaled).
Oh yeah! & I spent a little time on my CC finds page the past couple days here and there, I wanted to make sure I got to share a bunch of π³οΈβπ Pride π³οΈβπ stuff that I've come across that I hadn't gotten the chance to reblog yet. Happy Pride Month!
Update (June 18th ~very early in the morning~): Images for the items I have made so far have been upscaled. I edited the meshes on the ducks game and the merry go round to better match the game. They both just needed more space. The merry go round's circumference is larger and the horses are spaced farther apart. The game stall goes back more so that the throwing of a ball looks like more of a reasonable challenge. The duck game tabletop has lots and lots of slots added to it, and there are 2 versions of the flower beds, one empty so that it may be decorated with whatever plants you desire πΊ
(continued): Added 2 empty stalls for shops, etc. (see images above) slotted, of course! And a little goldfish prize in a plastic bag.
Update (June 18th): Just continuing to add more items and edit them as necessary. More preview images added πΊ
Update (June 19th): Still adding more items. I also spent some time today improving the crane game items. The mapping was off and the images needed to be edited with some hand painting even after being upscaled.
Update (same day): Added ring toss game pieces and stamp stand for re-entry to your parks.
Update (June 20th): Still adding items. I have many items sorted to convert for this set. **Should I possibly do it in two parts?** You can see new preview images of the magic set & lots of fortune teller items! (still not done with those) I worked all night on converting the items and then liberating them from the original file, which has a bunch of things together. I hope you like how everything is coming along!
And I hope everyone is having a nice week so far π
Update (June 21st): More preview images added! π Happy Summer Solstice!
Update (continued): I present the carnival float! I also edited the ducks game mesh so that the ducks are smaller, there are more of them, and they are at different heights as they would be in a carnival game like this. 39 files are finished so far! I'm having a great time making all of these cute things, I can't wait to share this set!
Update (June 22nd): Still making and editing! I will also have a Tumblr CC post for later today since this set is so huge and thus taking longer than usual to finish. (usually it's like)
Update: (June 22nd): I've added a few more items, you can see the preview images above (cookie cart, and pinball machines). Items have multiple swatches. I think next I'm going to move on to prizes and souvenirs.
Update: Getting started on the prizes and souvenirs. Image added!
Update (continued): New images added above: 10 toy plushies have been added for game prizes π (54 objects in total so far!)
Update (June 24th): Added more prize toys, and a shopping bag. Getting closer to being done!
Update (continued): More items added, more images added above π
Update (June 25th): After asking here last night I've decided to post this set in two parts (I hate making you guys wait) I'm just getting screenshots together for part 1 (40 of the items in part 1, of which I have 60+ files completely done), and it should be posted a bit later today! This post will continue to be added to for part 2, I still have some items that I am making to add to that chunk.
Update (June 26th:) Working on Part 2 to try to get it posted before this month is over. In addition to items in the previews that haven't been posted yet, I have made an entrance archway, the pergola, and street clock. The clock only had a clock face on one side, so I made a version with it on both sides as well. There is a gif added above where you can see how both versions look. Images have been upscaled today as well. I want to get more items completed today before I test them in game and get preview pics, so there will be more of those tonight βΊοΈ I'm having a great time creating all these cute things we can all use in our game π Thank you so much for being here π
Update (June 28th): I did more textures upscaling today and made a few more items. The second part is now almost completely finished, just a few more items to make. A couple are frankenmeshes. Apologies for lack of updates yesterday besides a few images, I wasn't feeling well and needed to rest a little bit. If anyone would like any specific items for part 2 (it doesn't have to be an Animal Crossing item, just anything that you would like for your carnivals, fairs, and festivals, let me know before I post so that I can add it π I will update here when I am getting screenshots for the post, so don't worry that it's too late!
More WIP images have been added With the "ground decor" item, I did not know what to call it because it is supposed to be a lantern. I am having a weird issue in Blender with my vertex paint brush (vertex paint is for illumination on your object, if you can't edit it, the item will glow very brightly in game and look weird/not good/completely out of place) When I fix that issue I will make a real functional lantern version of this item. I was dying to have it included, but it is simply taking me too long to find the answer, and I would like to post part 2 for you all before this month is over π
Update (June 28th): Testing the last of the items π π₯³
Update (continued): Done testing, taking pics for post π₯³ I added some image previews of items that haven't been seen yet, but it isn't all of the items.
