Hello and please tell me things

I recently have been slow on production (this will not last forever) and I have made 2 longer videos.
I am not going to stop making short videos OR long ones, but I want to know which you like more, and you can comment about why. You can also tell me what you want me to cover next.

Your 10 to 30 minute videos do the best and those are also my favourite length so I vote for those.

2024-07-21 22:00:26 +0000 UTCI'm not quite sure what you are referring to in regards to "long videos" and "short videos". I really like the "long shorts" format. It communicates important concepts by use of an example or two, in a concise way. I have been looking forward to a bit longer video (20-30 mins approx.) about IOIs. Some specific examples of the 2024 equivalent of "dropping a handkerchief". Even though its fun to hear you dunk on the hypocrisy that is female logic (hoe math), and it does make me laugh, it is a bit like fishing in a barrel, full of smelly fish.... with dynamite). Hope the suggestion helps, if not, then feel free to ignore my comment :) I know it's a grind making good content, but you have done a great job so far in maintaining a high quality and keeping your videos and scribbles dense and informative. Overall great value!

2024-07-09 16:18:21 +0000 UTCI think the occasional long videos are great (and probably more satisfying for you) but I really like the fairly frequent short videos. They are easy and fun to watch while still providing insight. So I think you should definitely mix it up. Of course you could also create a "series" where you create one long video but have chapters, where you release one chapter at a time. I don't think "cliffhangers" between chapters are necessary. Obviously that won't make sense for all long videos but it might make sense for some. (I am assuming you have an editor who is not too expensive for you budget. If you have to do the break up and release, I can see where you might want to deal with that.) I am one of those people who every day WANTS MOAR CONTENT! :-) :-)

Oh yeah, I am in Japan and tried to get your book but with shipping, the exchange rate totalled out to be around $70 in Japanese yen (7000yen). So yeah I'm going to find a work around the shipping. But kindle would have helped resolve all that and had me buy it much quicker. I have a US and Japan Amazon account. I hope this helps 🙂↕️

I know they're a ton of more work, but Self Maximize, for example, was so good that when I got the notification for it I was at an airport with a 2 hour break between flights and I watched Self Maximize three times back to back to back.

If someone is going through yiur library and trying to form an opinion of you one bad video could get them to stop watching the whole thing. I perfer long videos but what's most important is making videos that someone will want to watch 100% of.

As you progress with your analysis into deeper and broader concepts, the overlap of atomic notions between videos will make it easier to understand the root philosophy & reasoning logic I also think it’s a good idea to translate this knowledge to other languages. I’m willing to translate the main videos to Hebrew for free. Short form has its function solely for converting new people to these concepts so they are important in that sense

The short term are entertaining and have some nice thoughts, especially in response to someone else's video that needed an explanation. They're both good, it would be nice to set independent paces for both. My preference, without knowing anything about how much work it takes or how much time you have to put towards it, would be a long form every 2 weeks, and a short form every few days.
