Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I shared my impressions with you! I finally realized my long-time dream of watching Beck.

I had first planned to watch the anime adaptation after reading the manga, but after reading the first chapter, I still changed my mind.
The first thing that catches my eye is Osamu Kobayashi's inimitable style. From the very first episode I could feel his love for music, and the staging of the series was more like a music video.

Generally speaking, the music and its selection in Beck is one of its main virtues. I guarantee you by the end of watching the anime you'll definitely add a couple of songs from it, and quite possibly all of them!

What I liked about Beck is we're primarily following the life of the main character rather than the band. He's a regular high school kid and, despite his love of music, has his own routine and things to do that he can't get away from. In other words, he lives an ordinary life, and that's fine!

Nevertheless, it's this part of the anime that suffers the most from problems. The narrative is a little too sketchy in places, the character interactions are occasionally strange and incomprehensible, and the quality of the graphics are sometimes rather poor.

But still, I can't help but call this anime great! I really loved every single character and care about the group and its future fate, and Beck the dog deserves a place of his own in my heart.
