Honestly, I have a bad case of PBS - Pre-Birthday Syndrome. It's like PMS, but yearly. About a week before my b-day I get a bad episode, cry a lot, feel down... you know, usual mental stuff. It happened this year too.
EXCEPT! The last 2 days I've been feeling GREAT O___o Like, out of the blue. I don't know what the catch is, honestly, it's kinda sus.
Anyways, I planned this drawing for my b-day and I actually drew it when I was feeling low. But I'm not now, so it feels a bit weird to post it XD
The drawing is a redraw of something from when I was 24. Not that I put lots of effort into it back then, so they are not really comparable, but still, nice to see me growing :) And the fact I am actually ABLE to make proper drawings now is something I'm extremely proud of. I never had patience, but patience is like any other skill - can be gained.
This image was in my head for years. Some sort of a metaphor for a mental illness that I didn't even know existed back then. The new version is more... optimistic I guess. The black substance turned into art. That's what I managed to do with my life for the last year :)
