Back To The Grind: The Year Long Plan

So, this will be copied back and forward between Patreon and Twit-longer to keep it consistent. I'll be returning to posting animations after my two-week long break from the completion of The Hirsch's Episode 2. I've been doing some thinking and test work during that time and have a plan set out for the next 12 months or so.

First order of business, Commissions will be public again and with a new sheet.

A lot has happened last I had commissions opened to the public, and lately if feels like money has been dipping a bit keeping things exclusive. Hopefully things don't get too jumbled depending on how many try to order in one small time frame. But for the most part, I feel confident in the new direction I'll be taking the McDraws Art.

I've been talking with a personal group to determine how to hopefully boost the quality of each post. There's been much tweaking and refining and testing, but we finally have a good consistent look for both stills and animations. The GIF following this giant spiel is a taste of what everything will look like from here on out. Both with coloring and animation lengths.

Which leads me to my final but biggest part of the plan. Instead of twice a week, Twitter and other highly active sites will only have one weekly. On Wednesdays. I don't feel the main sites are working out as well as I thought they would. Especially if I'll be juggling a bunch of other things at once year-round, I shouldn't have to try as hard making huge extravagant weeklies more than one at a time. I'll still post and keep in contact, but one weekly for the main sites should be enough to keep people satisfied even if the sites themselves want to be pricks.

I'll be focusing on other platforms, specifically XVideo, Newgrounds, and Itaku. This will be more of a branching out system. Even if Twitter is THE main site everyone is dogpiling on, I'll be setting up in other corners to plant the McDraws label in different corners. Especially XVideo where I'll be posting all GIFs in the archives AND focusing on more short films and bigger projects.

I have things already rolling, this month's set of GIFs are good to go and ready to be scheduled for posting. And I have some bigger animations in mind that are deep in near development, it just depends on who wants to do what.

With all that said, Year Three begins. Fingers crossed things go smoother this time around. Everyone who sticks around for all of this makes this dream work. Episode 2 hype has been stellar these last few weeks. Let's try all this again.
