Changes - Doujin Project

This is the project that I've been working on. You already saw a glimpse of it with the prior post where I showed you the design of the main character. So let's start with her, Yuu. She's, well, you - the reader. The goal of this project and of this character is to serve as a vehicle to elaborate upon this moment of growth, exploration, and self-discovery of the allure of bondage. Yes, very typical Mona stuff. 

Essentially, I want to be able to express to someone who may not understand the appeal of bondage why those feelings are so alluring and captivating. And ultimately, it's a personal project to express why I draw bondage to begin with.

Once it is completed, it'll be distributed as a pay-what-you-want model; and I'm looking to try and work with other creators to create a higher tier product. I have attached the script for you to read.

It's a big project that I want to do right. You may notice that page 2 shown here is completely different than the other pages, and that's because this is my second go-around with the project. And it'll be unfeasible in my eyes to give the project the time I want to give it while working my 50-55~ hour weeks while still keeping up with the monthly Patreon schedule. And so it's only fair to reach out to you about exactly what I see as needing to be changed for the project to work out.

Here's everything that's still outstanding on the project in order:

Finalize the character design
Complete the rough sketching of the entire doujin, which should span about about 20 pages from my estimates
Re-draft the script, cleaning up grammatical inaccuracies and adding prose as necessary
Layer the text and sound effects
Second round of sketching to add in clothes, hair, etc.
Final lining of the doujin
Shading the doujin

I have about 7 drawings that I have completed are ready to keep the Patreon content going up until December; and as much as I will try to push for a December completion date, it will likely have to be pushed back in 2024. To this end, I'm looking to ask for your permission, as you are paying customers, to be able to end the bi-monthly character polls and just focus on this comic. In December, when we are wrapping up the year, I can give you a final expected release date for the project. Please vote on if these changes are acceptable to you.
