Decision about New Game +
Added 2025-02-03 23:31:24 +0000 UTCIn the membership tiers, there is a small point: "Polls for future functions/storylines." While most of the functions and storylines are already set and defined, there are times when I’m unsure whether to include a particular function or story event. These polls are designed for such situations. This is my first Dev poll.
Now, to set the context for this poll: I am already planning to add a New Game+ function to the game in a future update, which will include some extras. However, there’s one feature I’m unsure about adding to New Game+: the ability to unlock certain images in the persistent gallery using in-game money. In my opinion, this has both pros and cons, which is why I’m struggling to decide. I’ll leave it up to you all.
Should I add an option to unlock images in the persistent gallery for in-game money in New Game+?

I'm 100% for bonus or cut content photos being able to be unlocked I think that would be amazing!

2025-02-04 14:30:38 +0000 UTCI lean to yes but it also depends on the opportunities to get money. Currently after getting nanobots you can sit on a good amount of cash without spending. Of course there will be more stuff to buy in the future, but then one also should have enough opportunities to get money.

Maybe you can buy the ones you missed on the paths like the park pic if you chose resturant. Another idea maybe would be special images or bonus story lines? Like i would love to know more about Sam and her modelling job!

2025-02-04 09:21:54 +0000 UTCFrom what you've described in the comments you have what sounds like a good NG+ feature in mind that is fairly balance and not over the top. In conjuction with this have you thought about NG+ bonus images here and there for existing events? Sorta like a hey take this extra image that didn't originally make the cut. Edit: Taking from Simo these could be tagged with a NG+ bonus symbol.

But since it is the persistent gallery only I see no reason why it shouldn't. Persistent gallery is something that exists outside of the story. you can be on the true lovers path right now and your persistent gallery could contain some insane images of Liz 😏.

It is going to be expensive simply because it is a extra feature and not a main way to unlock pictures. The main way to unlock pictures is still to just play the game and unlock them naturally but giving people who already have multiple runs under their belt a function to unlock that 1 image they are missing somewhere in the middle of the happy path just sounds like a needed QoL improvement. This is also only for the persistent gallery which should not have a impact to the story. I mean if it did it would already be impacting it because my persistent gallery on the True lovers path has pictures of Liz getting absolutely destroyed 🤣. Also NG+ is not planned to be implemented for some time. not in the coming update and not the one after that. A lot of info dump here, I should have added it to the Poll but did not want it to be a major text dump. 🙁

2025-02-04 01:18:04 +0000 UTCHey there, just to give more information about this: every path will have choices that cost money it is just that true lovers requires more (way later on in the story,don't even think about it). but this is more for people if they are on their 4th NG+ run and have 7k in the bank with nothing to spend it on. Also NG+ will have more extra's including a base money increase and stat carry over (if you want to). this is just a bonus function for people who finished multiple paths and just want pictures or who finished multiple runs and is missing that one annoying image which requires a Lewdness of 64% at a specific point in the game. Also, nanobots, smart ring and other upgrades provided by Richard will also be carried over so that is also something you do not need to invest in. What I am trying to say is you will have enough money and if people would rather not have this, they can just not use NG+. The big con I see here is what Simo suggested that it kind of ruins the fun of collecting which indeed can be solved by an added tag. I hope this provides some clarity on NG+ as a whole. 😉

2025-02-04 01:09:26 +0000 UTCNot to add another complexity but perhaps if the Pics have "Tags" of the path that you can only unlock pics of the path you COMPLETED meaning it is just stuff you couldn't decide between doing path A or Path B but still doesn't ruin a potential NG+ different path run.

2025-02-04 00:36:58 +0000 UTCto also build on a comment @NosyFellow mentioned here, if the Lovers path is what will cost a bunch of money to keep that means consequently having the NTR path means you have more available currency to buy the pics, which seems counter intuitive, since that probably means that the ones we would be unlocking would be the more "wholesome" Lovers path pics. A possible alternative would be that the amount of money that you SPENT in the game is what is refunded to you in NG+. Regardless though this is a pretty weighty concept that has a lot of pros and cons.

2025-02-04 00:21:38 +0000 UTCI think spending money to get the few pics you didn't get makes sense(i.e. for when maybe you took Liz to the Restaurant instead of the park or something similar, I just wonder how much relatively it will cost since that in itself is a difficult balancing game. is a pic worth the cost of one work day? three? are some pics more expensive than others? loooot of elements to decide and balance. if this were implemented I would advocate for it being a much later addition/ upgrade.
