2021-11-20 15:58:24 +0000 UTCWhatever it might feel like, it doesn't LOOK like you're getting rusty. The only advice I can offer (as someone who's done the whole 'Major Artistic Slump' thing before) is to just pick a time every day (mine's 9:00 am when I'm not working, earlier if I am) and spend like, half an hour at least LOOKING at your blank page. When I got into writing prose rather than music, I'd just bullet-point my way through scenes I couldn't find the motivation to write out in full. IDK if there's a drawing equivalent of that, but I find that if I do it enough I eventually end up getting wrapped up in the scene and its specifics until I'm writing paragraphs instead of bullet points. Who knows, all this might be crap advice. I'm sure loads of people have already offered their two cents, so feel free to ignore mine. I don't plan on going anywhere, regardless.
