It was meant to promote a movie that I had made about a seemingly magic toy that can let you look into other worlds and a hero that could travel to them. The parallels that danced in my mind between Buckaroo Banzai and the View Master didn't enchant as many people as I had hoped, and it remains one of my least viewed videos. This image, and its haunting quality is a side effect of another project and may have ended up being better than what inspired it.
