Wednesday Walk: Deep Woods
Added 2023-07-05 23:00:05 +0000 UTCIt is so unbelievably hot outside! I sometimes find the deeper, darker woods a bit cooler, but that was not the case today.
I felt like a vegetable in a steam basket. I'm not even sure if I was sweating or if I was experiencing some kind of condensation from my body temp being cooler than the air, like a cold can of Coca Cola.
It was a hot and sticky walk!

Putting yourselve "centre stage" as it were, with the luscious but cool(ish) looking greenery deep in this forest grove, the movement of the background relative to you, in a celebration of parallax. And yes, I caught just a hint of that steaminess, that sweat inducing heat, but in that environment, it's looking hot, but i think bearable. Would be perfect if there's a forest stream to submerge into. I love being naked in the forest - the Japanese phrase it "Shinrin Yoku". Forest Bathing. Kerry Kott, on Instagram (@natureisalwaysnude) has a lovely explanation of the connection between plants, their vibes and us, when nude in the forest. A lovely clip. Can almost smell the vitality.
