Where trees grow in ancient pools

I went for a beautiful hike today in a space that looked almost otherworldly. The whole mountain is a gradual slope of granite. Time, air, and water have created texture and pools. Some of those shallow pools now have unique ecosystems. What a beautiful hike at Arabia Mountain!
