I think they're.. passable. I'm not loving what I see, but they're not awful. If the old printer was a solid A rating, I'd give these like a B rating. Maybe B- due to the washed out colors on some of the reprinted older designs. The paper quality of the cards is nearly the same, just the tiiiniest bit thinner, but they still feel nice.
Thankfully the Rogue and Mirko designs look good. The colors on those two turned out fine. I'll pack them up with the stickers and try and mail them out on Monday!
Moving forward with this printer though.. I'm not so sure. I might shop around and try to find somewhere better. I think the issue is that the old site could print from RGB files, but this new one had to convert the files to CMYK, and whatever method they used washed out all the color. I found a new program to convert them myself which MIGHT look better, but I wouldn't know until I order more and get them in hand.
Compare the colors on the Ada Wong card and you can see what I mean. (left is old, right is new) The reds are more orange. None of the reprints look awful, but I'm personally not happy with a lot of them. I reprinted a few of the Halloween cards too, and the purple colors aren't great. I'm gonna try my best to sort this out in time for the next Halloween set.
Well anyway, the important thing is that this month's cards look good and they'll be mailed out soon!
Thank you for being patient and understanding. Sudden problems like this are always super stressful and I've just gotta do my best to roll with it.
