But I can't draw it.
I came up against an artistic limitation today as I drew this drawing. The point of the gesture drawings has been to work quickly, but I feel as if I had spent more time on drawing my hand it would have undoubtedly turned out a little better. As it is, it didn't turn out quite to my standards. This frustration or lack of skill resulted in today's haiku.
My hands do so much and I know them well. But as the very things that help to create my art, I need to re-familiarize myself with them artistically. It comes down to a need of practice in drawing my hands.
