As I finished up, my shoe lay next to me, looking like a character in need of documentation. So I drew it in my sketchbook. The lava lamp offers beautiful shapes and forms, as always. The recently fallen branch on my walk offered a gelatinous texture in its heavy, brown fungus. Funny that this is today’s collection of imagery. I feel that it must be thematic, but at the moment it eludes me…
