A new adventure!

I currently have a couple of tiny projects to complete in order to better understand electronics and the process by which they are made. This is an electronic hourglass.
I like learning new things, and I feel like this is an area in which my education has fallen short. So I'll have to educate myself.
Why? Because I've been inspired lately to incorporate a level of technology into my art. At present, I only have a vague notion of what that may look like. It could provide a level of interactivity between viewer and art with sound or light. There's so much potential. Potential that can never be tapped into without a basic knowledge. So, here I go!
