It was performed by Marina Abramovich in 2005 at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. It was a part of her 7 Easy Pieces series in which she performed 7 pieces for 7 hours consecutively over the course of 7 days.
This is my interpretation and performance of a classic piece of performance art. I chose to use a prop I'd created myself, as opposed to an authentic version, as it is currently legal to open carry in the state of Georgia.
