Sit Ups

Not the sound, the action of doing a "crunch", a partial sit up.
I remembered the workout tapes on vhs and those before them on cassette tape as I exercised. There were pop songs in my childhood that I couldn't hear without recalling the encouraging voice describing the next workout move. My mother played one in particular often.
I shot this footage on the Vivitar Vivicam5160, a camera from some 10 years ago. The footage shot with this camera always puts me in mind of camcorders and t.v. from a different era.
