COMIC: Social Survival by Hien Pham

Social Survival by Hien Pham

We're here! We're queer! We're... socially awkward??? If you're stressin' about going to your first queer event, let Hien Pham metaphorically take your hand and show you around in this comic on surviving socializing in the queer scene!

----------

Our Pledge Drive is going strong and we've been stunned by the turn-out! If you're a new patron, HELLO, WELCOME, and THANK YOU! Hope you're enjoying your exclusive bonus comics! ;D Not only did we meet our minimum number of patron sign-ups to keep the site up for another year, but we're now cruising upward, getting it a little more sustainable with each new member. For the first time in years, we have the chance to start planning out a page rate increase for the hardworking artists we hire!

If you free followers can't commit to a monthly or annual (discounted!) membership, you can always make a one-time eBook purchase or make a single donation through our store!

A FREE way to help is by sharing our pledge drive on social media, since most mainstream platforms have restricted us from reaching our followers or outright banned us. Share a link to our Birthday/Pledge Drive comic, our store, or you can re-share one of our existing posts on Bluesky, Facebook, Twitter, Mastodon, Pillowfort, or Instagram.

Thank you so, so much to everyone here. We really were looking at closing up shop but, haha, you've made that impossible for another year! As long as you keep showing up, we'll keep bringing you these great comics. Promise.

Thank you so much! I was honestly a bit worried it wasn't gonna connect with folks but I'm so glad it has!

Thank you so much! I agree completely. Being actively curious and invested I think is what helps with making adult friends!

Oh, this is so good, and so relatable!

i love this sweet tutorial! everyone could use a chibi Hien helper at a party :) it certainly can be difficult to put yourself out there with new people, but most people are curious and friendly. be curious about them in return!
