A fun new OJST comic today! A friend of mine had mentioned his journey on finding the right cock cage, and I immediately knew that I wanted to interview him about it! I'm very grateful that he's shared his story with me, and very happy how this comic turned out! Let's get into the behind-the-scene tidbits!
PAGE 1: I made up this "room" these two started in. My friend's a big fan of the cafe franchise Dome here in Western Australia - apparently it's only in WA and not many people like it but he loves it, so I thought I would put a touch of Dome in for him as a treat. Though, I had intended to disguise it a little bit and not just spell it out so clearly but... I forgot... so I'll just adjust it when / if I get a cease a desist lol.
The calendar is one of "hot dogs" ๐
He's also big fan of trains, so the two maps on the wall are the train maps of Sweden (where he wants to move to eventually) and of Perth. The rug on the floor has the same pattern as the public transport seats here in WA ๐!
PAGE 2: the cages I drew here are intentionally off-model to existing ones on the market so I don't get sued... the one he has on is very close to the real-life model, but still not quite!
PAGE 3: one of Clay's other love is latex suits so I gave him a nod here. Oh, that and feet. That boy loves feet!
Fun fact: last year I was hoping to write a comic interviewing Clay about what compels him to feet (or what a sexy feet looks like to him) but when I pitched it, apparently OJST was getting TONS of feet comic pitches?! So I ended up having to leave it to someone else...
PAGE 4: I originally was going to match the lighting from the last two panels of page 3 to signify the "fantasy / flashback" sequence here, but that lighting plus the pose I had with the rope made the panel look incredibly intimidating... I ended up changing it to something much softer.
(cont.)
Panel 3 here is also a direct reference to A Process Of Falling's page 3 panel 4 in which I saw a Bear and a (rope) Bunny do Shibari. In that comic I pondered "What does it feel like to know that everything's going to be okay in the end?", and I wanted to somewhat answer that question here with my own experience doing rope bondage in a softer, more tender way.
Page 5: one more fun fact for the road: Clay didn't have a fursona of his own, but I knew I didn't want to draw people in this very explicit comic, so I ended up incidentally creating Clay's first ever fursona for him for this story (which referenced art from my first furry comic I ever did! Full circle moment!)
That's all I have for this comic. I hope it's worth seeing how the pages have transformed from the line-art sneak peeks to the final product! The team and I are very pleased with this one, and I hope you've enjoyed it as well!
After I finished this comic, a friend of mine started talking about their cage collection and talked about the reality of wearing a cage (especially the adjustment period of wearing it at night?!) which blew my mind! This comic was purely about the emotional journey and the pay-off of practicing chastity, but the logistics of actually wearing a cock cage will have to be another comic.
Til then, take it easy and take care everyone!
