Video Premiere today: The Stunning Synth That Moog Did Not Want

Hey Ipsters,

I finished the video and am excited to share it with you. See you at the premiere!

Sound pack will hopefully be ready in time, have to take care of our youngest as the kindergarten is closed due to pandemic reasons (she is fine).

Love,

Hainbach

Currently there are four examples for sale on Reverb. Ranging from 3,328 to 4,500. The cheapest one is missing slider knobs but there are a few knobs for sale on ebay

I had one of these for awhile. Well, I had most of one. John Bowen - who was a product specialist at Moog, before he moved to Sequential - had the top section built into a wedge-shaped plywood case (vaguely like an ARP 2600) with a Sequential Model 700 programmer and 800 digital sequencer added underneath. One day, without warning, he put it on my desk at Sequential. I had it for awhile, including hiring Gene Stopp (ex-Moog; he was also one of those who maintained Keith Emerson's modular) to fix it up. The Model 800 didn't work anymore, so we took that out, and replaced it with a Blacet frequency divider and a patch panel, making it semi-modular. A few years ago, I gave it back to John, delivering it to his Solaris booth at NAMM. It was one of the attractions of the show - but someone also stole the cap off the glide control on the lower left. For those who would like to see a photo of the beast, here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/utxzuw5cb2smsp7/BowenMeyerSonicSix_cc.jpg?dl=0
