Jiu Yue has regained her strength, but she still needs some time to stabilize her realm.
She sets up a barrier, covering all the beast girls within it, then asks Su Tingyun for some medicinal pills to help the girls heal. Everyone begins cultivating at the bottom of the abyss. When Jiu Yue emerges, the Beast Realm is bound to undergo a significant change.
Right now, Su Tingyun has no choice but to wait—for the full moon night, and for Jiu Yue to repair the Bodhi Mirror of Reality.
"I say, you should just kill that fox and snatch the mirror," Xuanyuan Wentian suggests, then he coughs. "But with your strength, you wouldn't be able to control that divine artifact, and I can't operate the mirror either."
Even if Xuanyuan Wentian helps by sacrificing his own soul power to assist Su Tingyun in killing Jiu Yue and seizing the damaged mirror, Su Tingyun doesn’t have the strength to operate the artifact. Plus, she lacks the skills to repair it. Xuanyuan Wentian does know how to repair artifacts, but currently, he is merely a weakened mass of demonic energy with no means to do so.
Moreover, he has no intention of taking on such a thankless task a second time.
The black mist surrounding Xuanyuan Wentian retracts, gradually revealing the outline of a human figure. Suddenly, he recalls a phrase: "Sow good deeds, and you'll reap good outcomes."
He has forgotten much—many memories lost—but this phrase surfaces, spoken in the voice of Changguang. Yet, he can't remember what prompted her to say it. Although he’s a demon now and should scoff at such words, the recent events prove that, at least in this case, the saying is true.
He wants to remember why Changguang said it.
Deep in thought, Xuanyuan Wentian stands silent and motionless, lost in memories and ignoring Su Tingyun altogether. He is completely immersed in memories.
Returning to the world inside the ring, Su Tingyun hugs Big Bai and kisses her. If Big Bai hadn’t given the demon core to Jiu Yue, she might be doomed to wander aimlessly across this entire realm, unable to find a way out, like a headless fly trapped inside forever. Big Bai chirps softly, hopping and bouncing around in the ring's space, the bell on her head jingling with a muffled chime. Even though the sound is dull, she still loves it.
Su Tingyun’s strength remains insufficient, so she starts channeling spiritual energy to cultivate as soon as she enters the ring. Another month passes in the blink of an eye, and she breaks through once more, reaching the fifth level of the Human Immortal middle stage. Though this power level is low in the True Immortal Realm, the fact that she has reached the fifth level in such a short time would astonish anyone who knew.
However, Xuanyuan Wentian can’t help but mock her. “The ancient god clans were able to forge such heaven-defying artifacts, no worse than me. You possess their bone and blood as well as a divine artifact, yet you’re only at the fifth level of the Human Immortal stage. What's there to be happy about?”
As a former Demon Realm boss who, at his peak, could likely have destroyed the entire current True Immortal Realm, Xuanyuan Wentian has high standards. Su Tingyun doesn’t let his sarcasm dampen her enthusiasm. She stands up and looks around, noticing that Big Bai is still sleeping and that there are now several saplings inside the ring.
The space inside her ring is a complete miniature world. After the Five Elements were gathered, it already had mountains, rivers, flowers, and grass, so trees are not surprising. However, the fact that they’re growing right next to the Five Elements Disk is odd. The disk is at the very center of this world, surrounded by a hazy mist, an area where no plants had previously taken root.
Now, a circle of saplings has sprouted around the Five Elements Disk. Su Tingyun walks over for a closer look. Although she can’t identify the type of trees, she can sense that they contain immense spiritual energy, no less than the Kunlun Divine Tree.
Could it be...?
Looking closer, Su Tingyun sees that the ground around the saplings is scattered with concentric circles of fruit pits, arranged like tree rings. None of the other pits have sprouted, only those near the Five Elements Disk have taken root and grown. She counts them and finds there are twelve fruit saplings in total.
The sacred fruits of the Beast Realm are incredibly potent, considered the very essence of this realm, the Tree hidden as if by design. Yet now, she unexpectedly possesses twelve of them...
In this miniature world, the fruit trees grow quickly. In just a month, they've reached nearly five feet tall. Perhaps, in less than a hundred years, they will blossom and bear fruit. When that happens, her cultivation will progress even faster. Due to her unique body constitution, she’s immune to fire poison, allowing her to consume anything she wants.
This opportunity has come so unexpectedly that Su Tingyun is utterly stunned.
Xuanyuan Wentian is also momentarily speechless. He clearly understands that with these fruit trees, Su Tingyun’s cultivation speed will drastically increase. A moment ago, he was mocking her weak cultivation, telling her not to get excited…
"Humph, fools are blessed with dumb luck," Xuanyuan Wentian scoffs icily.

A month later, the surviving beast girls have mostly recovered, and Jiu Yue's cultivation has also stabilized somewhat. She decides it’s time to lead everyone out of the abyss.
Aside from the wild beasts that have always lived at the bottom of the cliff, other members of the beast race don’t dare to fly here. They have to rely on the mechanical lift by the cliff's edge. But when Jiu Yue goes to activate it, she discovers that the pulley mechanism is broken.
Was it damaged by the last thunder, or did the beast clans outside deliberately sabotage it?
The recent lightning and thunder resembled a tribulation, so the beast clans outside naturally assumed the Saint was undergoing a tribulation. However, the Yayu did not appear, and the ever-burning lamp in the holy temple must have extinguished due to the Yayu’s death. It’s likely that everyone already knows—the Beast Saint has fallen. The Beast Kings of the Realm maintain a facade of peace and treat the High Priestess with respect, all because of the Beast Saint.
The Saint was powerful—so powerful that the other Kings couldn’t muster the slightest thought of resistance.
But now, the Beast Saint has perished.
This likely means that chaos reigns outside, and no one cares about Jiu Yue's fate anymore. Regardless of the situation, the priority now is to lead the demon beasts out of here.
Since the lift is broken...
Jiu Yue's expression turns serious. After a brief moment, she lightly touches her toes to the ground and darts into the sky. The other demonesses are anxious, but soon they hear the sounds of roars and battle above them. Before long, a massive shadow appears overhead.
Standing imposingly on the back of a Kunpeng, Jiu Yue waves down to the demon beasts below. Her long black hair flutters; her eyes gleam with a faint golden light, and the nine long tails behind her dance wildly, emphasizing her overwhelming presence.
“She actually managed to beat that Kunpeng into submission,” Su Tingyun observes. At this point, she’s still far from being able to contend with a Kunpeng.
Fortunately, she and the nine-tailed fox are allies now—no need to worry about failing to play the part of a powerful figure.
Once all the beast girls are on the Kunpeng's back, Su Tingyun jumps up to hitch a ride as well. As she leaps, she uses a touch of spiritual energy, and Jiu Yue's eyes blink with curiosity. Jiu Yue even leans in to take a deep sniff. "Senior, why is your power so strange?"
Su Tingyun doesn’t get flustered, nor does she respond with a cold, dismissive snort. Instead, she simply smiles impishly at Jiu Yue until the latter flips her hair, turning her head away with a huff. Then, Jiu Yue stomps her foot and shouts, "What are you waiting for? Fly up and get us out of here!"
The battered Kunpeng, its face bruised and swollen: "Whimper... whimper..."
