     Su Tingyun doesn’t know why he’s doing this out of nowhere, and while she is still confused, she watches as Bai Su’s form suddenly shoots up into the sky. As he flies up, his wounds reopen, and a drop of blood hits her face.

     Bai Su flies high into the sky, his entire body’s spiritual energy released to its limits, and the blowing wind makes his sleeves billow. He is sending Su Tingyun and Bai Chengyu straight to the Obliteration Sword Tower. At the same time, he strikes out with a palm towards another direction, with a thunderous force behind it.

     A voice shouts out: "Dost thou dare?!"

     Bai Su responds coldly, "I dare, but do you?!"

     In the sky, lightning flashes and thunder rolls, and before Su Tingyun could gather his wits and react, she finds herself and Bai Chengyu entering what seems to be a black hole. The next time she opens her eyes, there is the vast blue sky of what should be thousands of lis away, and the small bamboo forest isle of the Obliteration Sword Tower is right under them.

     In the distance, a thunderous explosion rocks the sky. The once-clear sky is instantly covered with dark clouds.

     Su Tingyun’s mind is shaken, and her eyelids keep twitching. She has a nagging sense of impending doom.

     "Aren't cultivators from the Upper Realm unable to use spiritual energy?" She turns her head to look at the equally dumbfounded Bai Chengyu, "That one just now, was that Heavenly Punishment?"
