DOWNLOAD Classic Sunset: A Journey to the Sunset Valley We Never Had
Added 2025-02-08 13:09:31 +0000 UTCI present to you my new project: Classic Sunset, a recreation of Sunset Valley inspired by The Sims 3 beta version—the one we only saw in screenshots on the game's promotional pages but never got to experience ourselves.
It took 30 days of intense work to faithfully recreate the atmosphere of that era, bringing back details that capture the essence of The Sims 3 in its early days. Classic Sunset aims to deliver a nostalgic experience that connects the past with the present. It was built using my custom lighting presets as a foundation to modernize the process and achieve an even more authentic result!
If you've ever wondered what it would be like to live in that version of Sunset Valley, the one that exists only in our visual memory, now is the time to find out. ✨
You will need the following add-ons:
Installation Instructions:
Add the "Classic Sunset Beta" file to the game directory at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds
Remember: The directory may vary depending on your installation, but the final destination remains the same. The world must be placed inside the Worlds folder within NonPackaged.
Then, add the files to the Mods folder inside your Packages or Overrides folder.
Once that’s done, you have everything you need to enjoy Classic Sunset Beta.
Keep in mind: The interior of all lots is incomplete. As a recommendation, I suggest leaving some of these lots as they are for optimization purposes. However, feel free to furnish all the lots—despite being a large map, it has been optimized to prevent or reduce any routing issues and lag.
