[Skyrim SE] Vanargand Animations II - Unarmed Non Combat Locomotion

Starting up the Unarmed animation project with the non-combat locomotion, which covers the idle, turns, walks, strafes, run and sprints while the character is in a drawn Hand-To-Hand state and out of combat.

Next up, I'll be working on the Hand-To-Hand combat stance, feel free to suggest sources of grounded unarmed combat techniques that might fit Skyrim's theme.

Use any mod manager or manually copy the content from the attached file's 'meshes' folder into your Skyrim's 'meshes' folder.

Open Animation Replacer is required.

True Directional Movement is recommended.

Thanks for the suggestions, pugilism seems to be the best suited for Skyrim's settings so far, looks quite promising.

When it comes to detailed real-world historical sources, your best bet is probably 18th-19th century pugilism (boxing) manuals. I think these would be a good fit because Skyrim's unarmed is almost entirely punches. That said, you could also draw from Ringen (German grappling) for some of the finishers, which would work well with some of the HEMA-inspired techniques in past animation sets.
