Near future plans: Leviathan 2.0

Now that the magic series "Goetia" is pretty much done, and as was decided in the Crossroads poll earlier this year, I'm excited to announce that my next project is going to revolve around the second most voted series "Leviathan", where I'll be remaking some of the older animations and experimenting with some new tools (for paired animations) and frameworks (ADXP | MCO, Precision, Payload Interpreter...), some of the things I'll be working on in the near future are as follows:

I see that now, definitely excited for it. I'm sure Leviathan 2.0 will be great as well.

Cheers Mura! Hopefully, things will keep getting better as time goes on and as I keep learning more and more about animating, the techniques I used in Leviathan 1.0 are definitely much more simplistic compared to Goetia that it has become a bit hard to look at the old work-files lol, but yeah, I'll be looking into Precision in detail and make sure to update the old Leviathan attacks accordingly.

Very excited for Leviathan 2.0! That was your first "full set" animation I think, but you've gotten SO MUCH better since. Seeing the difference in quality between Vanargand\Goetia and Leviathan, it makes it obvious how much skills you've gotten. That's not to discredit Leviathan 1.0, since it's still my go-to for two-handed NPC animations. Slight note on Precision + Leviathan 1.0: The forward power attack's original hitbox doesn't match the swing itself (it happens near the end of the swing). With Precision, it matches it properly. The issue however is that it makes the hitbox much faster than intended, to the point that Quick Reflexes doesn't work against it (you will get hit before Quick Reflexes trigger). Hopefully Leviathan 2.0 will take those animation timing into consideration for users of Precision (I haven't encountered this issue at all with Vanargand).

I'm probably in the minority, but I'd love to see an unarmed animation set. Those animations don't get nearly enough attention, IMO.

yeah i'm afraid that while precision is amazing it's gonna have to wait until someone makes a patch for it because i am NOT gonna switch back to vanilla's awful animations lmao

No plans to replace 1st person animations at the moment, sadly I don't find them as enjoyable to work on as 3rd person.

I love Leviathan series, can't wait for 2.0! Though, any chance you will be doing Leviathan 1st person animations too? Mike from Skyrim Guild soon going to update his Blender rig - https://www.skyrim-guild.com/mike-rig-v116 that should add first person animation support to it.
