New Short/Promo!- Nuts About Squirrels
Added 2025-01-21 22:35:00 +0000 UTCI'm extremely proud of this one. For that reason I'm hesitant to simply call it a "plush promo" because it's pretty much a full-on short rather than a quick skit for advertising, lol.
I found a public domain squirrel documentary from the 50s called "Squeak the Squirrel" and decided it would be fun to cut it all up into a nature documentary about the Mitzi plush.
Eveything lined up perfectly to get this published on squirrel appreciation day, too.
Who knows whether or not Raccoon Teacher will ever show up again, but here's a new sorta kinda character here, too. Thinking of calling her "Ms. DePoint" or or some awful pun along that line but I haven't given it more than a minute of thought.
Technically this is now the "longest short", already surpassing Christmas' short, but I don't think this really counts considering how much of it isn't even animated.

I'm imagining her being like Edna Krabappel or Miss Hoover from The Simpsons, where they have to constantly put up with the antics of the troublemakers.

2025-01-21 22:51:36 +0000 UTCI always find it hilarious when anthropomorphic animal characters behave like real animals xD Happy squirrel appreciation day to our favorite Rodent :) Just my opinion but since you already have a Design and a name for the teacher (good idea for the name btw xD) i think You should keep her in mind Who knows, maybe you'll have another idea in the near future that you could use her for The school could be an interesting place for some ideas imo :)
