I saw "Ted Lasso" a while ago and am re-discovering it with you and through your eyes and it's so much fun...☺️ Since this is a Bill Lawrence show, you get lighthearted fun and heavy emotions in the same amount. I love the speed with which they shoot the jokes at you, you can't blink for a second or you'll miss a pun. Fun fact: The "elder statesman" player, former Chelsea Champions League star Roy Kent (cleary a Roy Keane rip-off 😀) is played by Brett Goldstein, who is one of the head writers of the show. Brendan Hunt, who plays coach Beard, is another one. I think you called Keely the clubs "mascot" last episode. I really like that this (intended) picture of her gets cracks and the real person behind the facade begins to shine through. You can clearly see Rebecca is a torn person. She actually starts to like Ted (who doesn't), but doesn't allow herself to act on it, because that could put her whole vengeance plan into jeopardy. Unfortunately she doesn't give a sh.. about the people who actually work for and truly love the club...🙈 Another fun fact: Hanna Waddingham stated jokingly that loving the biscuits was her greatest acting in this show, because she actually despised them - they where made only to look good and not go to waste, nobody cared about their taste...😅 That's about all I got on this episode, since we're still in the middle of the build-up. As always, can't wait to see your next reactions...🤩
