For me this movie is very classic, very charismatic, and very punk rock (yes I am)...

Clark, Lois, Jimmy and Lex were all great, but I think Mr. Terrific was my favorite, his scenes were just…terrific ba dum tss :D Lex`s army of monkeys talking smack about superman was hillarious #supershit, and Guy with his bowl cut, eating fruit loops and drinking milk was somehow so fitting bahahahaha That homage to Smallville made me nostalgic, I had to pause the video for a moment and listen to the intro. „Somebodyyy saaaaaaave meeee“ Its unfortunate that the Shirt idea didnt work out, but the dress was a fabulous choice too! It looks…terrific hehehe. Okay, ill stop now, cya :)

2025-08-20 03:43:41 +0000 UTCJames Gunn is particularly good at making a "comic book" movie as opposed to a "superhero" movie. The thing Superman, Suicide Squad and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies do really well is embrace the craziness of the kind of story you can tell in a comic book world full of powers and monsters. This film unleashes a monster within the middle of the city and has a bunch of other heroes arrive to help fight it, without slowing the story down with details about the creature, because Gunn knows the audience can accept this kind of thing happens in this world.

2025-08-19 19:37:13 +0000 UTCI did watch Suicide Squad when it came out, the Margot Robbie one and didn't really enjoy it. Not sure why, but maybe just wasn't in the right headspace. Also havent seen Guardians of the Galaxy either, heard thats good! Poison Ivy is a fab choice, i like her alot in the Batman animated series!

Yes, there’s plans for Supergirl to come out next year who is played by Milly Alcock (an amazing actress who stars in things like House Of The Dragon) but 100% agree you should check out the other movies James Gunn has done especially Suicide Squad it’s a very fun watch (: he did do guardians of the galaxy but that is marvel but an amazing trilogy too, I love the way his movies feel. But if I had to choose a character I’d like to see have their own movie it would probably be Poison Ivy (:

This movie is supposed to be the start to an DC-universe. Kinda like Marvel has been doing it. And this movie was successful. Oh a Nightwing movie would be great. (Supergirl movie, Supergirl movie, Supergirl movie) Jokes aside I couldn't pick who I would want a movie for. DC has a lot of great characters
