2022-10-02 16:31:59 +0000 UTCWow, ok so this was That episode. (I have not been looking at the upcoming episode names. Much more exciting to be a surprise). I really enjoyed the format as well. There are a lot of episodes in this series and it is nice to have something different now and then. I am here for Sam, Dean, Cas and all the semi-main characters, so it was a bit sad we didn't get to see them much. But I think they did a good job with it. Sadly, I think the 3 main characters were all very over the top "stupid kid" like, and that really killed a lot of the enjoyment for me. I mean, I think everyone watching this said things like "Who would do that? Why are they not even thinking about ___? many times. I think they could have toned that down at least 50% and made the whole episode fit better with the Supernatural we are used to. I enjoyed the kids story, just not the way they portrayed it. I hope that makes sense. Did anyone else think this was a Pilot Episode for a spinoff Supernatural universe show name Bitten? When it first aired I was sure that was what this was. However then, and just now, I can't find any information about a possible spinoff related to this. Did Supernatural accidentally make really good Pilot for a spinoff without even meaning to? I agree with all the wonderful things you said in the outro about relating the kids story to Sam and Dean's. I am nowhere near good enough with words to make my thoughts on that readable in a comment lol. So yea. "What she said". I'm a bit late to this party... Now that I'm here on patreon I think I will go back and watch all the older full length reactions. I have seen all the youtube edits. Time to catch up.
