That was a beautifully heartfelt and insightful breakdown you made in your reactions to one of my favourite episodes of season 3. It is one I sometimes return to as a one-off re-watch because it reminds me of so much of the heart of the Lucifer story. Sometimes, in among the laughs and the drama it is easy to forget what drives Lucifer, what has hurt him so deeply and what being in earth 'as his own man' means to him. It helps to remind me when he is behaving crazily or confusing or hurting (not deliberately) others around him, especially Chloe. It also reminds me that Chloe is his soulmate, even if at this stage of his story, he doesn't realise it himself and Chloe, recognising she does have feelings for him, doesn't really understand him. As you said (last episode, I think) how can she be anything but hurt and conflicted by him when her own feelings have to be squashed down because he seems to have changed his mind and doesn't want the relationship that clearly he did want once! Nightmare...and all of this because she doesn't know the truth about him and his innermost demons and motivations. It is so good, this Show.
