New MIDI: Beyond Good & Evil - Home Sweet Home
Added 2023-11-11 09:38:00 +0000 UTCOn this date, exactly 20 years ago (at the time of upload), Beyond Good & Evil was released (the Ubisoft game; not the Nietzsche book lol). Although I didn't play it upon release, I remember picking it up as a high school kid and having a lot of fun with it. Since then, I've been one of the many fans eagerly anticipating its sequel, which currently holds the world record for the longest on-and-off development time of any video game ever. It was originally announced in 2008, but has since been rebooted in development at least once, as shown in the 2016 E3 reveal. The last bit of official news we got on it was a tidbit in January 2023 from Ubisoft, basically confirming that it is still being developed. Here's hoping it will one day see the light of day...
