Smug neurotypical audience repeatedly high-fiving selves despite having had no part in performance

A neurotypical audience at a concert has attempted to take credit for the performance by repeatedly self-high-fiving, an autistic woman has reported.

According to Natasha Weaving, 32, the otherwise well-behaved crowd at a local Abba tribute night inexplicably began congratulating themselves for a job well done after every song.

Weaving explained: “They didn’t even do anything, apart from sing along out of tune when nobody asked them to.”

“It was the performers onstage doing all the heavy lifting,” Weaving continued. “But did the audience show them any appreciation? No. They made it all about themselves.”

Weaving was last seen in a praying position, having been asked by the group to put her hands together.
