Smug neurotypical audience repeatedly high-fiving selves despite having had no part in performance

A neurotypical audience at a concert has attempted to take credit for the performance by repeatedly self-high-fiving, an autistic woman has reported.

According to Natasha Weaving, 32, the otherwise well-behaved crowd at a local Abba tribute night inexplicably began congratulating themselves for a job well done after every song.

Weaving explained: โ€œThey didnโ€™t even do anything, apart from sing along out of tune when nobody asked them to.โ€

โ€œIt was the performers onstage doing all the heavy lifting,โ€ Weaving continued. โ€œBut did the audience show them any appreciation? No. They made it all about themselves.โ€

Weaving was last seen in a praying position, having been asked by the group to put her hands together.
