An autistic woman with a crush on Some Guy has generously gifted him with a far superior personality crafted entirely from her imagination.
Ellie Mulligan, 28, bestowed completely average bloke Lucas Fletcher, 31, with a winning character befitting of a romantic lead - but has yet to receive so much as a thank-you text.
Mulligan explained: “Lucas would sometimes respond to my jokes with a cry-laugh emoji, so I decided he’s probably funny.”
“I mean, he did do that Borat impression that one time,” she continued. “He somehow managed to make it MORE racist. But Mr. Darcy didn’t appear to be funny at first… or at all…”
“The point is, I made him hilarious and interesting and he hasn’t even had the courtesy to acknowledge it,” she added. “Or emerge from a lake with his shirt all wet.”
Fletcher could not be reached for comment as he was busy doing something mundane and inconsequential.
