plans 🤫

yo. i did that thing again where i said "no working on other projects until the current big stupid project is done!" because i thought it would speed up my progress but i doubt it actually helped at all. good news is now that it's done and up on youtube i've opened the floodgates once more. i want to do a lot starting in october, but i'm wise enough to not promise anything. not too wise to keep my ambitious plans a secret though!

• schwift and i will record the spoiler chat soon, and i don't think i'll do much editing to that one, even for a public release. i'm happy to treat it like a podcast episode. hopefully this shouldn't take up too much time.

• as promised in The Black Queen, i recorded a 100k Q&A way back in January. i'm insane so i haven't released it yet even though the channel has now passed 150k. woo btw. i've been anxious about posting it because it has uh Me in it! me and my little face 👽 hi several hundred thousand strangers, this is what i look like! aaahh! but i should post this soon lol

• october is spooky month and i would like to do a spooky month video. i've had a relatively simple one planned for years but it's just never panned out. hopefully this is the year.

• i have missed streaming so much. we're going back to streaming. yt streams with schwift (we have a HUGE document full of ideas, we are never running out of livestream slop content 🙏🙏), and my twitch channel too.

• i'm really excited to work on a Comprehensive Dragon Video. again this honestly shouldn't take that long, i've just been putting it off because of HOTD.

  speaking of HOTD i think i'll step away from the show for a while after the spoiler chat. the plan is still to produce full video reviews a la season 1, but i think i'll have a better time of this after getting some space from the show.

• in turn i will be jumping back into GOT for the rest of the year. season 6 is something of a white whale for me at this point. the anticipation for those videos is honestly terrifying, like how could they possibly be good enough to justify waiting that long. but not working on them isn't gonna solve that problem! i think i'd like to livestream some of the research and editing for those videos, YMS made that seem like a lot of fun. not just season 6 btw: i think a GOT REVIEW would be such a lovely breath of fresh air too. this year? idk.

• if you're wondering about my promised AVATAR: THE LAST PISSBENDER video, i think we're at the point now where that video would be best released in the lead-up to season 2 coming out. i am very excited to be working on something outside of ASOIAF so i might still make the video sooner and just withhold its public release until an appropriate time.

will any of these plans pan out the way i imagine them? probably not but writing them down makes them real. thank you for supporting me through less productive times. i'm sorry i'm like this.
