where pisstake

hi thanks for checking in, sorry it's been a while since i posted a video you were actually expecting

i could hit you with the sob story of everything that's prevented me from doing that, but let's not.

i've seen a few people concerned that i would "waste" time on making irrelevant crap like the most recent video; time that i could otherwise spend on a more substantial or worthwhile project. to be clear: that video took me roughly 5 hours of work to make and i did it as a joke to celebrate a stupid milestone. i can assure you, that video's existence in no way has slowed down production of The Thing You Want.

as for the April Fools' video, if anything that one actually sped up the production of other videos by forcing me out of a creative slump.

my current plans are centred around around finishing these last three season 6 videos, putting out a GOT REVIEW (jaime won the poll), and hopefully a theory video, all before House of the Dragon airs in late August. i am quitting my day-job quite soon, to focus full-time on creative endeavours. i have made a lot of promises over the years and i intend on fulfilling all of them (not necessarily soon, though). this includes:

- price of life and death 3 (a video exploring Mirri Maz Durr and her motivations)
- season 5 pisstakes
- videos breaking down my ~5 favourite episodes (praisetakes?)
- seeing GOT REVIEW through to every scene in season 1
- apparently i once promised i would talk about jaime and redemption arcs across media so i guess we could do that some day
- getting through that theories list (it's sitting at around 1200 submissions currently) - i would like to stream regularly but my timezone makes it difficult to find times that cater to everyone
- additionally i've come back around on doing a detailed rebuttal to a certain awful series by a certain youtube channel
- i've been asked to do a tier list of GOT characters that might be fun
- i just like making videos

i plan on chewing through this No One script next week (we'll see how that goes). for anyone who doesn't know, the script is by far the hardest and most time-consuming part of my process. once the script is done, the sailing gets smooth.
