Yeah, it was pretty obvious in the scene with Anna after Simon made the deal to help Scott/Scarlet that Anna is fairly good at convincing Doros's cats to help her in some way. Makes sense since Doros views his cats as mere property, also probably views normal humans as cattle, so he probably doesn't have a great view of Robin outside of her being interesting. Doros seems to be one of the fairies that did/do not agree with Anna's earned freedom. Of course, Doros's views taken to their conclusions Robin isn't really a fairie and therefore the normal rules on promises/agreements don't apply. Though, people like Anna and Mira seem to view Robin as if she were a natural born fairie.

For all his arrogance and callousness, Doros is just arguing semantics.
The important point is that Robin became a faery using Anna's magic, which precedes any contract she had with Doros. It doesn't actually matter if Anna considers Robin her daughter or her construct.
I wonder if Doros knows that and is trying to distract Anna by insulting her? But it looks like that could backfire if this is the last straw for Simon.
