Development Blog - June 2020

Good day everybody!

We're going to tell you how things go with the development of the game.

We have two news for you. One is good, one is bad.

Let's begin with the good one.

The game scripting goes well, and I'm making success in here!

Of course, I wanted you to enjoy Simon and Richard while looking at them, so I'm doing everything to make the sprite aligning and emotions look good. I'd also like to add more animations and pretty effects, but I can't do more than my best.

It's cool, though, that I have a fellow coder which I can ask for help from, and he'd tell me something I don't understand.

Anyway, the work is going forward!

So what about not so good one, you might ask?

The artist who's working on event CG-art has a very heavy load on his duties in his studies and can't work at this moment.

But there's also some pluses. During this time, I've developed a proper and detailed tech specs regarding all of the story and visual elements of the game. Also, thanks to your support, the artist will start working again after he deals with its things.

As I've said earlier, the +18 scenes are the hardest thing to do. This is actually a good thing, it's a test of our development capabilities. After all, I do know that you DO wait for these scenes! So we need to step up our efforts to make them look exciting and horny.

Also, we'd send a unique illustration for VIP-patrons very soon!

It'd be an unusual one with different variations, drawn specifically for these patrons. Thank you for your support! (A part of the illustration can be seen in the VIP-post from June)

Of course, it's too early to announce the release date. We still need to fundraise for the artwork and then to get published on Steam, not to mention other expenses. Game development is never a simple and cheap thing to do, and we are glad that now we don't have to worry about the game much like before, and it's all thanks to your support.

To make the post, we'd like to show you one of the new CG illustrations. Is this a kitchen? Or just a living room? Is it both? How is it for you?

I wish I could show you more screenshots of the game, but we didn't want to screw up the intrigue with spoilers. Just be sure that we still do our work.

Despite that the "Run, Kitty!" is very short, its creation needs an enormous amount of effort, especially considering that it's our first try ever.

Thanks to your support, it means a lot to me and us.

I want to mention that if you have questions, ideas and suggestions, you can comment here or send an e-mail to strongandfurry@gmail.com. I'll be glad to respond!

Until next month, guys! Woof-woof!
