Asking for your opinion on a potential price increase

Hello! So, something a bit different this time, I'm coming at you with asking for your opinion:

Lately, I've been thinking of increasing my $1 tier to $3. There are a few reasons for that, mostly that after Patreon & payment fees the 1$ translates into pennies for me. But also, the more money I make from my Patreon, the more time I can take to work on my AI goodies! Overall, it'd make a significant difference in income for me, while (hopefully) not making a huge difference for subscribers. However, I don't want to take that decision lightly, that's why I want to ask you guys' opinions. Currently, I see three options:

• Option A, change the 1$ tier to 3$ for everyone. This means that current subscribers would start paying 3$ instead of 1$ a month after their last payment. This option would net me more income, but it would probably not go over well with a decent portion of 1$ subscribers (but maybe I'm wrong, that's why I'm making this post).
  
• Option B, change the 1$ tier to 3$ for future patrons only. I can do that by hiding the 1$ tier from view and replacing it with a 3$ tier. In effect, new subscribers would be at the 3$ tier, while 1$ subscribers would keep that price for as long as they stay subscribed. This would not change much for me in the near future, but it'd be the better option for you guys, as it effectively doesn't change anything for anyone currently subscribed.
  
• Option C, don't change anything. Prices stay the same. I'd love to not pick that option (like I said, more money means more time I can dedicate to AI), but I care about my community first and foremost, so if you guys are really opposed to the change, then I won't do it.

If I do end up deciding to make the change, I will of course warn everyone well in advance (probably two weeks or more). I don't wish to spring this change upon anyone, and I want to be as clear as I can about everything.

Edit: I'm also thinking that if I do end up making the change for everyone, I'll distribute some discount coupons for the new tier, both to thank you guys and to ease the transition as much as possible, as I understand not everyone would be able to afford the new price :)
I'll have to figure out how to set up coupons, but I'll try to make it a thing!
